Entering orders

For those of us taking pre-orders (stock not available yet), when do we enter these orders and would we be charging the credit cards this far in advance? I don't think BDM is ready just yet, am I correct on this? Thanks for your input.

In the news...

My Vintage Baby
Posted by LivingmyMoMent on Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Love the vintage look and feel of things that bring you back to yesterday and wish that your children’s clothes could have that same flair? Well, MoM of 3, Diane from Texas has been working My Vintage Baby since 2009 as direct sales representative to share with others, clothes that have that one of kind look. She started with the company as a way to get involved in their fun trunk shows, and to find an opportunity to be a direct sales representative. The business actually started in 2003 by MoM, Jessica who began creating unique clothes for her daughter turning ordinary clothes into something fabulous. Many of the collections are inspired from vintage materials creating a one-of-a-kind look. she uses reproduction feed sacks, hankies, chenille, aprons, and tablecloths to embellish the clothing, creating truly unique designs. Their vision is to make each garment as unique as the children who wear them! My Vintage Baby also has lots of ideas that fall outside the vintage look. They now offer several other collections each season that are not of vintage inspiration; but rather created with a little funk, a lot of glitz, and a fresh new look. Creating special clothing for special girls and boys is what these lifestyle collections are all about. So, if you are on the search for something vintage and fun for your kids then check out http://www.myvintagebaby.com

Application of Sales Tax

Some of you may already know this, but as I was filling out an order today I had a question about the application of sales tax when a bonus reward is used. I clarified with Jessica and Lisa...If a person orders $200 worth of clothing at a trunk show and they have a MVBDBR for $50, is tax applied on the full $200 or the $150? According to Jeff, we should be applying the tax to the sales amount after the bonus reward has been applied - therefore the $150.

Also, you may have already read this in your manual, but...sales tax is applied to the shipping charges as well! I had to double check this in my manual.

Thanks!

Pricing Clarification

Hi ladies! Wanted to clarify shopping direct through the MVB website. For Fall 2009, you will notice that the public will be able to order through MVB Corporate. This will cease to exist starting in Spring 2010. For Fall, if the public orders through MVB Corporate, the prices will be at full retail, while you are selling at 20% off retail as a Direct Sales Rep. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Happy selling!!!
