My Vintage Baby : Review and Giveaway - October 10, 2009 -

You absolutely have to check out this site. Is this not one of the sweetest, cutest sites you have EVER seen?
I suppose I am biased. My husband and I have always loved vintage items and have numerous antiques in our home (most of which we gathered from estate sales and yard sales on hot deals).
I will tell you right now – this site is not for the ‘bargain hunter’ but rather for the mom (or grandmother or auntie) who would like to splurge on top notch, boutique quality, high end, can-be-passed-down-through-more-than-one-kid products
While some bloggers request (or even expect) a specific color/shape/size to review, I have never done that. In fact, I don’t require that a business ship me ANYTHING if they cannot afford it. Money is tight for everyone right now. If a business is offering to sponsor a giveaway on my site, to benefit one of my members, that’s enough of a trade for the free PR that I’ll do on their business and products. I don’t require more than that unless they wish to send something for me to touch, feel, wear, etc. In that case, a more thorough review is possible.
Diane kindly shipped me a lovely black top in size SMALL. The words “Baby Couture” are written in gold and the shirt is adorned by a gold baby bottle, two crowns and numerous fancy pants sparkles.
I graciously wrote to Diane and said, “This top is a maternity top. It’s beautiful but I will leave the tag on and allow another mom to win this since I do not plan on getting pregnant again.”
Ain’t no top THAT cute
Diane let me know that they top can be worn during pregnancy but that is not mandatory. Either way, I decided to leave the tag on so that someone else can benefit.

Bird's Nest Trunk Show
Just wanted to post some pics of my Trunk Show at the Bird's Nest today! Learning a lot about merchandising/setup (fun) and about advertising/reaching customers (hard part). I hope I'm not wearing out my contact list!
Also, wanted to share that I was able to get poster size copies of our pictures at Sam's for $8.95 each. Spray mounted these to foam core. They turned out great! Just uploaded from home, and went to the store the next day to pick them up!
These make really attractive setup decorations. Especially if there are pieces that you don't have in your sample line, this is a good idea to use.
